New & Improved Sunshine Outdoor furniture!

We have made a few modifications to our line of outdoor furniture- new dimensions and more leg room! But availability of Sunshine outdoor furniture is spring and early summer.

About Me

Johan Meijer: Since 20002 I have operated a small furniture store - Portico, in one of my favorite towns - Portland, Oregon. I love to showcase other artists work, and since the last two years I have endeavored to develop my own line of furniture. Most of the work has been done with found old recycled wood from the surrounding area. It's been very interesting to see the many dimensions of the Douglas fir that we mainly use. The end result of the wood that the customer receives is impacted by how and where the tree grew. How the log was milled, and how the wood was weathered and aged during the last 100 years. Recently I have been joined in the woodshop by a very talented furniture maker, Brian Crane, an OCAC graduate(Oregon College of Arts and Crafts). Together we hope to reach new heights of functional expression. Thanks for checking these updates.
